★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 2,510 reviews · 1 hour · from $12Our pick

See Budapest’s Danube landmarks on a polished one-hour cruise with Tokaj Frizzante, an audio guide, open-air views, and a smart price.

“I went there in off season and it was pretty good. Didn't see any crowd or too much occupancy. Glasses of cruise were clear and clean so you can enjoy the view indoors as well sitting at a place enjoying the drink. They do sell cocktails, non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages on cruise so if you want you can try that out as well. If you want great photos of yourself, its better to go with someone to get those captured well. Its good sight seeing experience giving calm and relaxed vibes. I am not sure how much crowded it would be on peak seasons.”

Review of Budapest’s one-hour paddle steamer cruise, with Danube views, Tokaj Frizzante, audio guide, heated seating, and practical tips.

“This was a truly worthwhile and memorable way to experience Budapest from the river at night! The views are beautiful. The boat is full of character and so different from all the rest. We were given a glass of Prosecco and blankets to keep warm while passing the sights sat at a cosy and romantic table on deck. The boat was decorated with Christmas baubles, adding that extra special touch. No background music blaring so easily able to hear the audio descriptions through headphones. Loved every minute.”

“Eger was a charming town with an interesting castle. We ate lunch at a wonderful restaurant recommended by our guide and had a little time to explore the town and get coffee afterward. The wine cellars were fun to explore as well but our focus was Eger. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the history of Hungary and enjoyable to ride with. Would highly recommend this tour!”

“Professionally organised by Richard, our guide (and driver). Richard provided information and history (nicely balanced) en route from Budapest to Eger then Egerszalok. The 90min ride was very comfortable. The Eger city tour was interesting, then we went around the castle district on our own. The thermal baths were well organised, it was relaxing and a new experience for us.”
